The Limits of the Law of Attraction

Like the sun, the law of attraction is always on. There is no off button. Because of this there are no limits on what you can create in your life with the law of attraction, except the limits you place on yourself.

What Limits the Law of Attraction?
When you think about something with great emotion, this sends a feeling or a “vibration” out to the Universe, whether or not you are aware of it. This is what attracts to you the thing you thought and felt about.

The problem is not that the law of attraction is limited, the problem exists within. If that feeling sent out to the Universe is coupled with any kinds of feelings of self-doubt or self-worth, then you draw to you experiences that amplify those feelings.

What comes back to you is the energy you put out in the first place. Much like John Lennon’s Instant Karma song, what you put out is what you get back–always.

Changing What Limits You
Changing what limits you and the law of attraction in your life starts with changing the way you feel about yourself. Get involved in any kind of program that encourages you to feel better about yourself. Understand that you worth is no less than anyone elses’ worth regardless of how you experience your worth in the world or how your worth is mirrored back to you.

The hardest thing for a person to do is to change the way she feels about herself if she has been put down for the majority of her life. These feelings of self-worth, self-love and self-acceptance are at the heart of using the law of attraction to better your life.

Self-worth, self-love and self-acceptance come from within you–where everything originates anyway. One of the best ways to change the way you feel about yourself is to place affirmations of your worth in places where you see them every day. Develop a mantra, learn to forgive yourself for those things you have erred in and let them go.

Learn to Stand Up For Yourself
If you want to succeed in life, then stop taking the picture from the outside of you and believing it. If you believe the negative things people say to you, you cannot win. There are no completely “bad” people and no completely “good” people. Bad and good are judgments placed upon us by our collective beliefs and society. Take these words out of your vocabulary altogether and learn to replace them with words of self-love, self-worth and self-acceptance. This will remove the limits of the law of attraction you have placed upon yourself.

Don’t let feelings of self-doubt and low self-worth place limits on the law of attraction in your life. Climb out of your hole and reach for the sun. If you can dream it, you can become it.
