Club Volleyball Review For The Front Range Volleyball Club

Located at 8536 Concord Center Drive in Englewood, Colorado and led by executive director Kay Rogness and head coach Jim Miret, since 1981 the Front Range Volleyball Club has been training aspiring volleyball players who have an eye on the potential for earning a college volleyball scholarship.

Many of the junior volleyball club players have won medals in the past and held some rather high ranking positions within the AAU National Championship standings, making the Front Range Volleyball Club one of the premier venues for parents living in and around the Englewood, Colorado area. The club’s accomplishments may be especially poignant for those parents in search of a reputable nationally acclaimed sports club that offers volleyball at a competitive level while also providing college prep volleyball training that traditionally has enabled many girls to earn college scholarships.

FRVBC Volleyball Training

Volleyball training at the Front Range Volleyball Club is taken very seriously. Parents and players who make the commitment to attend the club program in the past, seemed to have understood that in order to turn out high quality players, practice time is a must. Practicing three times a week is a common occurrence and this historically elite club emphasizes the importance of volleyball practice attendance, strength training and also technique development.

Volleyball Teams

Perennial medal winners at the AAU National Championships and 2001, 2002, 2005 and 2006 Junior Olympic Volleyball National champions, the Front Range teams in many age brackets are consistently ranked some of the best in the country. Particularly so for their 16s teams who were silver medalists in last years’ AAU National championships, bronze medalists in 2007, silver medalists in 2006 and in 2005 gold medalists at the USA Junior Olympic Championships.

This Colorado club ‘s record of top ten finishes in junior national tournaments include eight in AAU Nationals, 68 in the Rocky Mountain regions championships and 25 in the Junior Olympic Nationals.

In 29 years, Front Range VBC continues to differentiate itself from other nationally acclaimed junior volleyball clubs by continuously producing high quality teams and players through the results of hard-working coaches who are some of the best in Colorado. By offering a “comprehensive, all-inclusive training program” and working with expert consultants in various fields Front Range has proven to be a leader in innovation and positive change in the junior volleyball scene.

Volleyball Players

Front Range Volleyball Club has received over 300 volleyball scholarships awarded to their athletes in the last ten years. Additionally, the club has produced four USA National Team players, 15 Division I All Americans, 29 Junior Olympic All Americans and 3 MVPs.

18 FRVBC players have been selected for the Volleyball Magazine “Fab 50″ list along with 21 All Americans at AAU National Championships and 1 MVP. Regional honors and awards include:

10 players named Colorado Sports Woman of the Year in Volleyball

5 Denver Post All-Colorado players, plus Player of the Year and 5 Rocky Mountain News All-Colorado players, plus Player of the Year from Front Range in 2007

Volleyball Camps: What Sets FRVBC Camps On A Level Above The Rest

Volleyball training and a “resolute work ethic” is what Front Range claims separates them from the competition.

Front Range Camp Staff are specialists trained to develop youth, junior high, high school and elite level athletes.

Volleyball camp staff offers video analysis and video modeling combined with sports psychology and competitive situational training to train the “complete athlete.”

For those parents and players ready to commit to excellence, then the Front Range Volleyball Club is the right place for you.
